- Powderfill Eyebrows – involves soft diffusion of color that is hidden in the hair to give a hint of subtle blending for beautifully defined and attractive eyebrows.
- Hair Simulation – involves subtle strokes of color with special equipment to stimulate the natural hair growth pattern and conceal bald spots along the eyebrows and scalp.
- Solid Fill – involves an intense pop of color that is very dramatic and produces that highly stylized “drawn on look.” Solid fill permanent makeup is generally used on the eyes and lips.
Permanent makeup treatment is performed under topical anesthesia, and most patients do not experience any discomfort. Recovery time may last between three to four weeks, during which the color settles into the skin. Mild swelling is normal and subsides within a couple days. A touch-up treatment is performed about a month after the procedure, at which time any adjustment in shape and color can be made. Although designed to last forever, permanent makeup may fade over time due to environmental factors, including sun exposure. Touch-up treatments are recommended every two to five years.
