After approximately two weeks, any swelling and bruising will have diminished enough that you will feel more comfortable appearing in your public roles. However, your appearance will continue to improve and swelling will continue to diminish for many weeks to come. You should avoid strenuous activity in the days immediately following your procedure, making sure to follow your post-operative guidelines carefully so as to avoid any negative side effects.
