PDO Threadlift in Phoenix, AZ

With a PDO Threadlift, you can achieve a lifted appearance and improved facial contours without going under the knife. Board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Larry C. Leverett, recommends PDO Threadifts to patients who desire a non-surgical treatment to reduce their fine lines and sagging skin. Body by Leverett offers PDO Threadlift treatments for men and women in Ahwatukee, Chandler, Gilbert, and the surrounding communities of Phoenix.

What is a PDO Threadlift?

A PDO Threadlift is a minimally invasive, non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment that gently lifts the structures of the mid-and lower face to reduce signs of aging. Dr. Leverett and his team typically recommend a PDO Threadlift to patients who desire the results of a facelift but don’t want to undergo the hassle of traditional cosmetic surgery. The “threads” used in the threadlift are made of a special medical material called polydioxanone that dissolves over time. This material increases not only helps lift sagging skin around the face, but also stimulates collagen production for immediate results that continue to improve over time. Patients who receive a PDO Threadlift are often happy with their results for more than two years after their initial treatment.

Benefits of a PDO Threadlift

The PDO Threadlift is an effective way to treat common cosmetic concerns including:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles along the mid and lower face
  • Sagging facial skin
  • Mild jowls
  • Banding on the neck
  • General signs of aging

PDO Threadlift treatments typically take less than an hour to complete and don’t require any extensive downtime. Patients are able to return to their normal daily activities including work within a few days of their treatment. Our patients are able to benefit from immediately visible results that keep improving over a period of three to six months.

Ideal Candidates for a PDO Threadlift

Ideal candidates for a PDO Threadlift are in good general health and have realistic expectations of their desired results. We recommend that you speak candidly and openly with Dr. Leverett about your medical history. If the PDO Threadlift is not right for you, he will recommend alternative treatments to help you look younger and achieve your cosmetic goals.

What Can I Expect During My PDO Threadlift?

Your PDO Threadlift treatment will be performed in our beautiful office. Before getting started, a local anesthetic will be administered to your treatment areas. This is to ensure you stay as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment. Once numb, the threads will be inserted into the treatment area via injection using a thin, hollow tube called a cannula. The threads will then be positioned to gently lift the aging features of the face or neck and secured into place. The entire treatment process typically takes less than an hour to complete.

PDO Threadlift Recovery

Because threadlifts are minimally invasive and non-surgical, they do not require extensive downtime. This means patients are able to return to work and other normal daily activities within days of their treatment. Mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness around the treated areas are normal and typically resolve on their own within one to two weeks.

How Much Does a PDO Threadlift Cost?

The cost of your PDO Threadlift will vary depending on your treatment area and condition. We will provide a cost for your threadlift after your consultation appointment. Dr. Leverett offers financing through CareCredit® and Prosper Healthcare Lending. Our office also accepts Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, cash and cashier’s checks.
