PDO Thread Lift in Phoenix, AZ

Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Larry C. Leverett uses PDO Thread Lifts to get the benefits of a facelift without the downtime. He offers this procedure for his patients residing in and around the Greater Phoenix area, such as Ahwatukee, Chandler and Gilbert.

What Is a PDO Thread Lift?

The thread lift is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that improves signs of aging around the upper and mid-face to provide patients with the benefits of a facelift without any of the drawbacks. Our aesthetic professionals are proud to use absorbable polydioxanone (PDO) thread lift, FDA-approved sutures made specifically to enhance our patients’ overall appearance. At Glow Theory Aesthetic & Dermatology Studio, we believe in using the power of science to enhance our patients’ natural beauty and boost their overall confidence.

What Does A Thread Lift Treat?

  • Sagging under-eyes
  • Jowls
  • General signs of aging
  • Lifts cheeks and brows

What Is The Advantage Of A Thread Lift Over A Face Lift?

The advantage of having a thread lift rather than a facelift is the greatly reduced recovery time associated with thread lifts. When a patient has facelift surgery, he or she must be heavily sedated; as such, the patient must arrange for someone to drive him or her home from the hospital. Most facelift patients also require around the clock assistance from a caretaker for at least three days after they have surgery. Facelift patients usually need to take one to two weeks off of work, too, in order to heal.

Why Choose A Thread Lift?

Thread lifts are low risk, thanks to how noninvasive they are. There is virtually no risk of scarring, severe bruising, bleeding or other complications after having a thread lift. In rare cases, patients may experience irritation, infection or their sutures becoming visible under their skin. If this occurs, however, the sutures can simply be removed and the patient's face will return to its prior state.

How Long Does A Thread Lift Last?

A PDO thread lift can cause immediate improvements in skin sagging after the procedure. Results can last 1 year.
